AT 6.14pm on Saturday, August 3rd, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Carmarthen and Llandysul Fire Station were called to an incident on Minor Road, between Blaenduad and Cwmduad, Cynwyl Elfed.
Crews responded to a road traffic collision involving one tractor and two private motor vehicles. One vehicle was well alight on arrival and crews utilised one breathing apparatus set, one hose reel jet and small gear to extinguish the fire. The incident involved four casualties, one casualty was conveyed to hospital by air ambulance and another casualty by road ambulance. All vehicles were left in situ for a police investigation.
