A/AS Level results and other Level 3 qualifications in Anglesey 2024

ANGLESEY County Council would like to congratulate all learners on their results in this year’s A/AS Level and other Level 3 qualifications.   We would like to wish all the young people the very best for the future and acknowledge the support they have received from their schools and families.

Anglesey County Council’s Education and Welsh language Portfolio Holder, Councillor Dafydd Roberts, said: ”I would like to congratulate our young people who received their results today here in Anglesey which has been due to their hard work, ability and dedication during their studies.

“I wish them all the very best as they embark on new and exciting chapters in their lives as young adults.’’

‘’It is also very important to recognise the key role that the staff of our schools have played in the achievement of these pupils, and I would like to congratulate them too for all their hard work and dedication.”

Marc Berw Hughes, Anglesey’s Director of Education, Skills and Young People added: “I would like to sincerely thank our young people for their special efforts and their families for their constant support. Best wishes to them as they take the next exciting steps in their careers.

“For those who are uncertain about what options and opportunities are available to them following their results, support and advice are available either through the school or through Careers Wales.

‘’I would also like to thank the schools and the teachers for their hard work and dedication in preparing the students for this important chapter in their lives.  Two of our secondary schools, Ysgol David Hughes and Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi, have faced particular disruption this year as a result of RAAC.

“I would like to thank Qualifications Wales and the examination authority, WJEC, for working with these schools to agree on mitigations to help offset the impact of the disruption on learners as much as possible.”
