WE ARE delighted to announce that Avon TSA Ltd, an operating company of Avon Group, based in Brynmawr, South Wales has been appointed as 3M’s only UK authorised converter of 3M Thinsulate material.
Thinsulate is widely used by automotive manufacturers as a highly effective acoustic absorber for vehicle interiors. Uniquely developed by 3M, it is a market-leading product designed specifically to absorb vibration and help reduce unwanted noise from travelling throughout vehicles.
Avon TSA and its nine sister companies in Avon Group are already recognised as one of the UK leaders in manufacturing high volume, engineered NVH products for the OEM automotive market. The relationship with 3M will further establish its reputation as a supplier of choice for many of the UK’s automotive manufacturers and their suppliers.
Avon TSA will be capable of supplying Thinsulate product in plain roll or sheet form but also as manufactured products, coated or uncoated, edge heat-sealed or with adhesive face or backing.
