A MAN has been arrested following a stabbing in Cardiff this Morning (November 23).
South Wales Police have confirmed that they are investigating a stabbing which took place on Hansen Street, Cardiff, shortly after 9am this Morning.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested following the incident and remains in police custody.
The street remains closed while officers investigate.
A South Wales Police spokesperson said: “A man has been arrested in connection with an incident near Dumballs Road this morning.
“South Wales Police is investigating a stabbing in Hansen Street, Butetown, Cardiff shortly after at 9am this morning.
“A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is in custody.
“Hansen Street remains closed off by a police cordon and we thank the local community for their co-operation while enquiries continue.”
