THE DIRECTOR of BBC Wales, Rhuanedd Richards, has spoken of how proud she is at BBC Cymru Wales’ success and hard work as the 2024 Celtic Media Festival comes to a close.
At the end of the three-day event, which took place this year in Cardiff, the BBC Wales awards tally for the prestigious Torc Awards for Excellence totalled ten across screen and sound.
Rhuanedd Richards said: “Congratulations to all the nominees and winners at this year’s Celtic Media Festival. It has been a fantastic three days and a privilege to have the festival in Wales.
“I’m extremely proud of the work that many of our colleagues have put into this year’s festival, either by helping coordinate the festival or by hosting and participating in events throughout the three days.”
