DAVID TC DAVIES, the former Secretary of State for Wales, was announced tonight as the new Chief of Staff for the Welsh Conservative Senedd group.
The former Monmouthshire MP’s appointment was announced as new Welsh Conservative Leader Darren Millar moved to deliver a change of direction and professionalize the Senedd group’s operations.
An experienced political operator who also served as a member of the then-Welsh Assembly, David TC Davies’s appointment is a sign that Mr Millar wants to move on from the fractious relationship between Group staff and MSs.
In another move, former Welsh Conservative leader and Preseli Pembrokeshire MS Paul Davies will succeed Mr Millar as Chief Whip.
