PAUL CRANNY TRAVEL, established in 2017, opened its doors to Wind Street, Neath in January 2024 and has been overwhelmed with support from local people since. In gratitude, Paul commented: “The support from Neath locals has been fantastic!”
For the second year in a row, they won the prestigious Regional Travel Sales Star award at the Cruise Stars Awards in December 2024. This highlights their commitment to working with a plethora of high-quality cruise ships, and providing only the best holiday packages.
Customer satisfaction is at the forefront of why this agency is award-winning: Paul and his team value speaking to clients and giving them a personal understanding of what their holiday will entail. He noted, “now we have opened the Neath Branch,
there are more new customers who come into the shop and are interested due to our personable team.”
Paul’s background speaks of his dedication and love of cruise ships and travel: “I worked on cruise ships for 25 years, starting out as a pianist, and working my way up to excursions assistant, sales manager, and then to cruise director.”
Throughout his extensive career, he built many lasting relationships with cruise colleagues and clients, all of which influenced the name of his travel agency. When trying to come up with a name for his business, one client advised “Why don’t you call it Paul Cranny Travel? Everyone knows you!”
This ended up being a blessing as he had an incredible start to the business back in 2017.
