Olivia Attwood, from Love Island, has departed I’m a Celebrity after only one day.
The 31-year-old reality TV personality was the first participant from the dating programme to sign up for I’m a Celebrity, but had to withdraw 24 hours into the series due to medical reasons.
A programme insider informed The Sun: “Olivia was involved in a medical drama overnight.
“She really wanted to go back into the camp, but medics won’t let her.”
In the premiere episode of the series, which aired on Sunday, the public voted Olivia as a Jungle VIP and chose Chris Moyles as her partner for a special challenge.
After sharing a supper together, the unusual pair was charged with leaping out of a helicopter from 10,000 feet.
Olivia said, ““Oh my god I’m crying, that’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever done, ever. That is incredible. Top 10 experience of my life. Just amazing.”
Before entering the jungle, she remarked to The Sun, “I believe that if you declare you will never say something again, you jinx yourself.” I would hate to say that, and I believe it would take a great deal for me to say it, given that I am pretty determined and have followed the programme for years.
If you haven’t tried, you don’t want to be the one returning with no stars. I would hate to leave a trial without being able to say I gave it my all.
“Some of them [trials] are really difficult, like, if you watch every year, it’s not even the bugs it is getting those little stars off the ropes that is actually harder!
Therefore, as long as I have given it my best effort, I am satisfied.
