Jake Paul’s arm gets inked and bank account bumped: $250K from Swansea’s Au Vodka

JUST before his upcoming fight with Tommy Fury, YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul got a tattoo of a Welsh vodka brand’s bottle on his arm, and was reportedly paid $250,000 for the stunt.

The challenge came from DJ Charlie Sloth, who promised Paul the cash if he got a tattoo of the Au Blue Raspberry vodka brand.

In a video posted by the vodka company, Sloth presented Paul with a suitcase of cash, and Paul happily accepted the offer, calling it “easy money”. The final tattoo shows the bottle’s logo and runs the length of Paul’s bicep.

The promotional stunt is to bring attention to Paul’s fight against Fury on February 26. Paul, who started his career on Vine and YouTube, has since transitioned into the world of professional boxing, with the upcoming fight being his seventh.

Paul’s brother, Logan, also tried his hand at boxing but eventually moved on to professional wrestling and creating a viral energy drink called Prime.

The brand of vodka that Paul got tattooed, Au Vodka, was started by two friends from Swansea, Charlie Morgan and Jackson Quinn, and has since become a big local employer, with sponsorship deals in Ibiza and a spot on the Times Young Rich List.
