Daniel Davies has been announced as the winner of the Welsh Regional Heating Installer Awards 2024

DANIEL DAVIES from Lampeter, Ceredigion has been announced as the winner of the Heating Installer Awards 2024 for the Welsh region.

Daniel specialises in plumbing and heating solutions and has owned his company Daniel Davies Plumbing, for several years. He provides oil boiler installations and servicing, bathroom installations, emergency call out services and the design of sustainable heating systems.

The winning project saw Daniel fit a new heating system in a new-build dormer bungalow. Daniel worked with the homeowner to design a system which saw him add solar panels to the roof, underfloor heating on the ground floor, radiators on the first floor and more.

Speaking of his win, Daniel said: “Many local tradesmen have been to the property and have commented positively on the installation, which has not only made me proud but has reaffirmed to the homeowner that they made the right decision to trust me with such a big renovation.

“My clients have been very happy with their new high-performing, low-maintenance system and low energy bills. I’m pleased the judges have recognised just how many technical decisions went into creating a great job.”

The nationwide awards scheme, now in its ninth year, recognises the achievements and raises the credibility of plumbers and heating installers across the country who deliver excellent customer service on a daily basis. Representatives from the awards’ partners, CIPHEThe IPGPolypipe Building ProductsRefreshSamsung Climate Solutions and Stelrad – as well as a team of previous winning installers – judged the entries on problem solving, product knowledge and stand out work.

You can help Daniel to be crowned the 2024 Heating Installer Awards national winner by visiting the Heating Installer Awards website and casting your vote.

Voting closes on 28th May. Public votes will contribute to a third of the installer’s overall scores, alongside the judges’ scores and the scores from a technical challenge set for all of the regional and highly commended winners.

The winners will be announced on 26th June at Installer Show in Birmingham NEC
