DYFED-POWYS Police are appealing for information to identify a body discovered in Claerwen Reservoir on Friday (Oct 18).
Officers were called to the reservoir shortly before 8:30am after a member of the public reported seeing a body in the water. The deceased, who was wearing a wetsuit, is believed to be male.
Efforts to identify the individual, including checks of missing persons records with neighbouring forces, have so far been unsuccessful.
APPEAL FOR INFORMATION
The police urge anyone who might have relevant information or who believes the details could relate to a missing person they know to come forward.
If you visited Claerwen Reservoir or the surrounding area in the past six to eight weeks and noticed any unattended personal items, such as bags, clothes, or shoes, please get in touch. Even if you left the items where they were or removed them from the area, your information could be crucial.
