Alex’s Kilimanjaro challenge

IN AUGUST, Haverfordwest’s Alex Stanić will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the charity Anza.

Anza exists to improve lives by starting and scaling social businesses in Kilimanjaro. It strives to enable low and middle income families to create their own businesses and their own incomes by providing them to appropriate products and services.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor Alex and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity’s behalf.

We spoke with Alex about her challenge, and she said: “Anza is such an amazing charity, enabling low income families create their own incomes in the Kilimanjaro area.

“I’m so excited to climb it as we are going as a group but it’s going to be such a challenge as it’s like nothing I’ve ever ever done before. With the climb we are also helping to build a school nearby.

“Any donations would super duper helpful as we’ve got a lot to raise! I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.”
