CHRISTMAS SPIRITS persevered in spite of terrible rain so that The Three Amigos could complete their TWELTH annual Christmas toy run.
Starting from The Commons carpark in Pembroke, the riders set off for Haverfordwest via Pembroke Dock, Neyland and Milford Haven before making for the conference centre opposite Withybush Hospital to dry out with some Mince Pies and hot drinks for their troubles.
The Three Amigos presented Withybush Hospital Children’s Ward with 2 cheques of about £2,000 and over 3000 presents.
The money and presents were gratefully received by the Hospital who will use them to entertain children in hospital throughout the year.
Said ‘Dolly’ Ness Moseley: “It has been a fantastic day, despite the heaven’s opening up on us – a great turnout for the ride and a lot of people on the side of the road, smiling and waving. “Thanks to everyone who has supported this year’s event which will help the hospital do what they need to do and provide the level of service they continue to provide.”
