A DIETITIAN has been combining fitness and fundraising to help the patients she cares for at close-by Singleton Hospital.
Oncology and haematology dietitian Emma Davies has teamed up with instructor Samantha Williams to collect for the Golau Cancer Foundation which supports the work of the South West Wales Cancer Centre based at the hospital.
They have organised a Masquerade Ball for Saturday, January 30 and are hoping to get as many people to come along to Pontyberem Memorial Hall to enjoy a hog roast, prosecco fountain and entertainment.
Emma is an enthusiastic member of Samantha’s Boogie Bounce sessions which are held at the hall.
Emma said: “We have a lot of fun at the classes, Sam is a great instructor and she asked us if we would like to get involved with some fundraising.
“I work with cancer patients and we have both had family members who have been affected by cancer so we decided to support the work of Golau.”
Tickets for the event cost £30 per guest or £270 for a table of 10. Anyone interested should contact Emma on 07854174515 orEmm. [email protected] or call Samantha on 07779972531.
