GENPOWER Ltd is a family-run business founded in 2006 by Roland Llewellin (Managing Director) and his wife, Lisa Llewellin (Director).
The company is the exclusive distributor of Hyundai Power Products for the UK and Ireland, also offering a host of their own branded machinery available to fulfil worldwide (found by visiting hyundaipowerequipment.co.uk).
From their 120,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Pembroke Dock and new 100,000 sq. ft. distribution centre in Newport, Genpower distribute to an approved dealer (reseller) network and direct-to-consumer via their e-commerce channels and specialist online retailers.
Their ever-increasing product range includes garden machinery, petrol generators for leisure and industrial use, diesel generators for standby use up to 550kVA, petrol, diesel and electric pressure washers for DIY and industrial use, electric and petrol air compressors, electric, petrol and diesel water pumps, power tools, light construction equipment and workshop equipment.
The company have seen very strong growth in recent years and are continually evolving to meet the changing market requirements and challenges that come with high growth. They currently have over 120 staff across the main HQ in Pembroke Dock, 3PL Warehouse in Newport and their brand new Warrington branch.
Genpower Ltd’s target is to gain considerable market share over the next 3 years and exceed £100m turnover by 2025. Their business growth model is built around increasing online sales through omni channel product placement and distribution.
Hyundai Power Products Ukraine Appeal
At the start of March, the company launched an emergency appeal in aid of the British Red Cross to help support the people of Ukraine during this awful time (www.justgiving.com/team/hyundaipowerproducts).
As a business, their target for March 2022 was to raise £40,000 by donating 1% of all Hyundai Power Products’ sales over this period. Alongside this, Hyundai Power Products staff members have also been busy raising funds in aid of Ukraine – the Operations Management team has been holding bake sales, undertaking a 52-mile charity bike ride and also organising a sponsored trek to the top of Pen Y Fan on Saturday 9th April 2022.
To date, Hyundai Power Products have raised a massive £52,449 (131%) of their initial target.
