The ‘Celebrity Juice’ panellist and ‘Let’s Dance For Sport Relief’ winner was spotted on the Pembrokeshire Park’s white-knuckle Speed ride no fewer than three times.
Oakwood Theme Park’s Dominic Jones said: “Rufus seemed to have a really good time and he clearly got a big thrill out of riding Speed as he kept coming back for more!
“He was part of a large group that were obviously enjoying a last opportunity to visit the park before we closed for the winter,” he added.
Speed delivers fast and furious fun with an awe-inspiring beyond vertical plunge and is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Travelling at speeds of close to 100 kph and pulling up to 4Gs, the ride features everything from a beyond vertical drop at 97 degrees and -1G camel hump to a 110 degree flying turn and a vertical loop. Not forgetting the stomach-turning 360 degree barrel roll and the mindnumbing horizontal loop known as the helix.
Speed was the first ride in the UK to contain a beyond vertical drop.
