‘Save time and do it online’

savetimeandonlineA NEW online facility to check your Council Tax balance in Pembrokeshire has proved an instant success. Hundreds of people signed up for the Pembrokeshire County Council facility in just a few days of it being introduced. It is provided through ‘My Account’, a way of accessing a variety of online services via www.pembrokeshire.gov. uk – saving customers time and money.

“‘My Account’ has proved incredibly popular,” said Gareth Johnson, the County Council’s web manager. “More than 7,500 customers have activated their online account since it launched just over 12 months ago, and we’ve had great feedback from many customers about how it’s made life easier. “It just takes a couple of minutes to register for an account – all you need to get started is an email address.”

‘My Account’ provides access to Council services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It hosts a range of online services, from requesting a bulky waste collection to reporting a broken street light or missed bin collection. Users can also sign up to receive school and Cleddau Bridge closure notifications during bad weather, register for job alerts, pay for Council services, apply for copy certificates and much more.
