Over the course of 2015 the RNLI’s Tamar class lifeboat was called out 20 times, the inshore lifeboat 18 times and the Tyne class lifeboat three times. Crews also had to deal with two first-aid incidents in and around the boathouse. 2015 also saw the first sign of shape to the new lifeboat station situated at St Justinians, which once complete will home the Tamar class lifeboat and the inshore lifeboat.

A spokesperson from St Davids RNLI said: “We’d like to thank you all for your support this year and we are looking forward to moving Norah Worley into her new home.” St Davids has been home to the RNLI’s lifeboat station since 1869 and in the 147 years of service has saved some 330 lives and assisted many others.
