Local restaurant left £165 out of pocket after large group leaves without paying

A PEMBROKESHIRE establishment has alleged that a group of customers have left them £165 short after they claim the diners walked out without settling the bill.

The Imperial Hall, Milford Haven, took to Facebook to vent their frustrations after being left out of pocket by a large group of walk-in diners.

Owner of Imperial Hall, Lee Bridges, went on to explain how initially he thought they had accidentally forgot to settle the bill so followed the customers outside, but after the polite reminder, the bill still remained unsettled.

The large group of adults and children visited the business on Sunday, May 8, for lunch.

Mr Bridges, posted CCTV footage of the group exiting the bar on Facebook, along with a warning to other businesses.

His facebook post stated: “They asked for a walk in & racked up a £165 bill…one of the group came to the bar  whilst the others simply left the building! I tracked them down & stated I’m sure it’s a misunderstanding, but they have refused to settle the bill.

“Please Share in hope that they will not RIP OFF any other local establishment. The matter has been reported to the police!”

The video has since been taken down from the establishment’s social media page and it is believed that the incident has since been resolved.
