Caerphilly man jailed for drug offences

A CAERPHILLY man is starting a 3-year prison term after pleading guilty to drug offences.

24-year-old Kyle Humphries pleaded guilty to four charges: One charge of possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply, one charge of possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. two charges of possession of cannabis.

Humphries was found to be in possession of Class A and B drugs

He was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on 25 March.

PC Rhys Jones said: “Humphries was selling to users on the street and I’m pleased to see him now being jailed for his part in the supply of class A drugs in the south Wales area.

Humphries pleaded guilty to all four charges and was sentenced to three years in prison

“When he was arrested he had a significant amount of crack cocaine on him, worth thousands of pounds.

“These drugs cause misery across our communities, we won’t tolerate drug dealing and those who are involved can expect to be prosecuted.”
