DETECTIVES from Dyfed-Powys Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a 22-year-old man near Ammanford, The Carmarthenshire Herald can confirm.
At 8.50pm on Thursday, September 8, officers were called to a home in Treforis, Betws, following the report of a disturbance.
When officers arrived at the scene the man was found with fatal injuries.
The victim has been named as Cameron Lindley.
A 19-year-old male was arrested at the scene. He remains in police custody.
Specialist officers are supporting the victim’s family.
The family of 22-year-old Cameron Lindley, have paid tribute to him: “We are devastated at the sudden loss of a dear grandson, son, brother and uncle. We would like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time and respectfully request that we are left to grieve in peace at this time.”
