VISITORS to the S4C stand at the Urdd Eisteddfod will have the opportunity to sit in one of the iconic chairs from the hit TV series The Voice.
The chair was delivered straight from the ITV studios in Manchester to the Eisteddfod.
S4C will broadcast Y Llais – a Welsh-language version of The Voice in 2025.
You can apply to take part in the series on the S4C website www.s4c.cymru/yllais.
Applications will close at 17:00 on June 30th, 2024.
The four Coaches will be Sir Bryn Terfel, Aleighcia Scott, Yws Gwynedd and Bronwen Lewis with the series presented by BBC Radio 1 star Sian Eleri.
The series will see contestants take part in blind auditions as the nation’s best vocalists try to impress four of Wales’ top recording artists.
Hopefuls looking for a shot at stardom will take to the stage in a bid to be crowned this series’ winner, securing an exciting 12 month mentoring scheme and opportunities to perform on S4C programmes.
The series will offer feel-good entertainment for the whole family and will be available to watch on S4C, S4C Clic and BBC iPlayer.

Auditions will be held on July 12th in north Wales and on July 15th in south Wales.
