LEAGUE leaders Narberth hammered bottom placed Hundleton on Saturday, striker Jordan Williams netting an amazing four of his side’s eleven goals.

The Bluebirds are confidently maintaining their spot at the top of division one, but Hakin United are right behind them, only one point below with two games in hand.

The goal scoring parade started after only 30 seconds when Jamie Fleig poked the ball home after a goalmouth scramble.

And it was 2-0 ten minutes later when a cross from Morgan Preece found Justin Blewitt in the box and he powered home, his shot bewildering a shocked looking Dan Griffiths.

Preece was again the provider after 21 minutes when his centre found Adi Jones who made no mistake and buried the ball in the back of the Hundleton net.

The Narberth midfield were totally in command and five minutes after the break a Williams cross found Jones who calmly scored his side’s fourth goal of the afternoon.

The goals just kept coming and two minutes later Tony Evans got his name on the score sheet after Preece had put him through to slot home.

Jordan Williams opened his account in the 55th minute to make it 6-0, and added another 10 minutes later with a low hard grass cutter of a drive.

Player/manager Matthew Price came on as a substitute and made an immediate impact getting on the end of a Williams through ball to calmly finish.

Price was again involved in the next Narberth goal when his shot was uncharacteristically saved by Hundleton keeper Dan Griffiths who parried it into the path of Williams who easily poked the ball home.

Further goals by Price and Williams completed the scoring, finishing a great day for the Bluebirds, but not easing Hundleton relegation worries.
