DNA Cymru: Beth fydd yn cael ei ddatgelu?

Loughor 26

Whitland 19

A LOSING bonus point was all Whitland could take away from Loughor, as the Borderers failed in their bid to secure a league double over their opponents. The hosts started the brightest as Steffan James kicked a penalty after some Whitland pressure. However, the hosts replied quickly as Kevin Hall crashed over for an unconverted try and Peter Smiriglia kicked a penalty.

The second try for the hosts came from Alun Davies, which was converted by Smiriglia. The kicker then added another penalty as the home side went ahead 18-3 just before the half tome whistle. Again Whitland started the half the better; in a carbon copy of the first half as James struck a penalty. The Borderers then grabbed their first try from Raff Williams. Peter Smiriglia then pushed his side ahead with a penalty, before Jake Lewis grabbed a try for the home side. Whitland, looking for points in their fight for survival had to rely on Steffan James, as he kicked a couple penalties giving Whitland a deserved losing bonus point.
