Brennan’s late goal earns win for Tish

ST ISHMAELS earned their fourth win of the season on Saturday (Feb 26) as they beat bottom side Narberth 1-0.

The win keeps them two points behind third-from-bottom Neyland who also won on the weekend.

Tish had a good chance to score after two minutes but were unable to find the net.

Narberth battled well throughout the game as the score remained at 0-0 until half time.

Tish had a number of chances but their winning goal finally came on 80 minutes.

A free kick was taken quickly and the ball was sent into the box and Brennan Devonald fired the ball into the bottom right corner.

Tish felt lucky to come away with the victory as Narberth made it hard for them throughout the game.

On Saturday, March 5, Tish are at home against Pennar Robins while Narberth travel to Clarbeston Road.
