Bridge hold off Tish to seal win

MERLINS Bridge held off the challenge of St Ishmaels on Tuesday (Apr 5) as they earned a 4-2 win.

They also gained revenge for defeat to Tish at the Racecourse just a few weeks ago.

Merlins Bridge opened the scoring on the half hour mark when Jordan Williams fired in off the post.

Ben Davies doubled the lead early in the second half before Kieran Rendell volleyed Tish back into it from a set piece.

However, Jordan Williams found the back of the net from distance, scoring his second of the game to make it 3-1.

Dylan Ninnis netted from close range to set up a tense finish, but Will Haworth scored with the last kick of the game to make it 4-2.
