PEMBROKESHIRE’s Lily Rice has won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
She finished behind England’s Alice Tai (winner) and New Zealand’s Tupou Neiufi with a time on 1:23:060 to secure third place in the Women’s 100m Backstroke S8 final.
Lily represents Pembrokeshire County Swimming and is already world champion in Wheelchair Motor Cross.
She is also the first female in Europe to land a backflip in a wheelchair.
After her performance at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre she now has a bronze medal to boast as well.
