Clarby edge five-goal thriller with Hundleton

CLARBESTON Road got back to winning ways on Saturday (Mar 19) as they beat Hundleton 3-2.

After an even start it was Clarby who took the lead on 21 minutes through Jake Booth.

However, two quick goals turned the game around as Cameron Brunton and Nicky Grange scored in the space of two minutes to put the home side ahead.

Hundleton lead 2-1 at the break but eight minutes into the second half Clarby were level as Jake Booth scored his second goal of the game.

With fifteen minutes to go Richard Bevan scored what would prove to be the winner for the visitors.

The win for Clarby keeps them fourth in the table while Hundleton drop one place to eighth.

On Saturday, March 26, Clarbeston Road travel to Neyland while Hundleton are away to Monkton Swifts.
