THE Clive Huxley Cup final is set to take place this Sunday (Jul 24) between Pembroke Dock and Burton.
There will be a new name on the trophy this year after last year’s winners Cresselly were knocked out while 2021’s beaten finalists Whitland were knocked out in the semi-finals.
The two sides have been in great form this season as they find themselves at the top of their respective divisions.
Burton are top of Division 1 with five wins from six games while Pembroke Dock are top of Division 2 with the same record.
The semi-finals were played just under two weeks ago at Cresselly. Pembroke Dock beat Haverfordwest before Burton saw off Whitland in the other semi-final.
In the quarter finals Burton beat Carew by nine wickets while Pembroke Dock beat Hook.
Burton knocked out the holders Cresselly in the first round after beating them by six wickets.
The final on Sunday will be played at Stackpole and is set to get underway at 12:30pm.
