CRYMYCH held on for victory over Gorseinon on Saturday (Sept 24) to earn their second win in as many games.
Adam Phillips got the visitors on the score sheet with the first try of the game and he then added the conversion to make it 0-7.
Carwyn Rees then went over for Crymych’s second try but the conversion was missed.
Tomos Phillips then went over again for Crymych as he scored on his 100th appearance for the club. The conversion made it 19-0 to the visitors.
Gorseinon then hit back with two tries, one unconverted to make it 12-19.
Ifan Phillips then scored Crymych’s fourth try to earn a bonus point but the missed conversion left the score at 12-24.
Gorseinon hit back with a try to bring the score to 19-24 but they were unable to add to the scoring.
On Saturday, October 1, Crymych, who now sit second in League 1 West, host leaders Felinfoel.
