IT was a day to forget for the Mariners as Lampeter thumped them, scoring 11 tries in the process.
Lampeter scored tries with Carwyn Lewis touching down six times, David Doughty (3), Aled Thomas, and Ceri Thomas as fly half Huw Thomas converted all 11 tries.
The Mariners did manage a consolation try as outside-half Ian Rusinek darted over, with the conversion coming from Steve Picton, however Milford Haven were well beaten and will need to reassess before next week’s match.
