THE West Dragons ended the year on a high note as they came away with a 3-1 win over Herbrandston. Goals from Ashley Prior, Ashton Plunkett and Joseph Jones put the Dragons in a good position as they picked up their third win of the season to move off the bottom of the table.
Shane Walsh scored the only goal of the game for Herbie who slip to eighth position in the league. The Dragons will look to push on in the New Year as they travel to Johnston in the league on January 3. Herbrandston are also in league action on the same day as they take on Champions Hakin United.
