Three players sent home for breaching protocol

THREE Welsh players have been sent home from the national squad after they breached FAW protocol.

Hal Robson-Kanu, Rabbi Matondo and Tyler Roberts have all been released and will return to their respective clubs.

The FAW has said it will not be making any further comment at this time, however, Tyler Roberts took to his social media to apologise for the breach.

He said on his Instagram page: “Gutted to be leaving the camp early, but rules are rules and I shouldn’t have been up later in the hotel than the set time.

“Sorry to the team, staff and Wales fans. I will continue to work as hard as I can to earn my place in the squad for the Euros.”
