FISHGUARD Girls under 14s competed well at a tournament at Clarbeston Road on Sunday.
The seven girls who all attend Ysgol Bro Gwaun lost narrowly in their first game against Camrose 1-2, despite a goal from Jasmin Reynolds. In the second game the girls fought really hard to earn a 0-0 draw against Narberth. The third game saw the girls earn their first win with a 1-0 success against Pennar Robins, again Jasmin Reynolds scoring the crucial goal. In the final game the girls were a player short due to injuries to Ffion Evans and Jasmin Reynolds and despite a fantastic goalkeeping performance from Kelsie Jones, the succumbed to a 0-4 defeat against Newcastle Emlyn.
