Goodwick hit seven against Tish

GOODWICK UNITED continued their unbeaten run on Saturday (Jan 15) as they beat St Ishmaels 7-0.

The two sides met on December 11 in the reverse fixture, with Goodwick winning that one and they were almost ahead after just two minutes on Saturday.

They were given a penalty but Rhys Dalling failed to convert the spot kick.

However, just five minutes later they were ahead as Jordan Griffiths latched on to a ball from keeper Kyle Marsh to score.

Tom Llewellin was then unlucky to put the ball in his own net and midway through the first half it was 3-0 as Griffiths scored again.

On the stroke of half time though, Griffiths had to be replaced and Steven Dockerty came on in his place.

Six minutes into the second half the home side made it 4-0 as Dalling found the back of the net.

Dalling then completed his hat trick with two goals in the space of six minutes, the second coming off another assist from Marsh.

He then scored his fourth goal fifteen minutes from time to make it 7-0.

On Saturday, January 22, Goodwick are at home to Merlins Bridge, who they also beat 7-0 earlier in the season, while Tish are at home against Carew.
