Hakin score eleven in win over Tish

HAKIN United made it two wins from two in the Pembrokeshire League on Saturday (Sept 24) as they beat St Ishmaels 11-2.

The game was only five minutes old when Ashley Bevan put the hosts ahead.

However, Tish levelled eight minutes later when Ed Richards scored off an assist from Adam Kingsbeer.

Bevan restored Hakin’s lead three minutes later though and Brennan Devonald scored against his former team as he headed in.

Camron Thomas scored to make it 4-1 but Kingsbeer scored for Tish shortly before the break to make it 4-2 and to keep his side in the game.

Ten minutes into the second half though Hakin made it 5-2 with Ryan Wilson getting his name on the scoresheet.

Mark Jones then made it 6-2 on 63 minutes and Nicky Woodrow scored two goals in quick succession to make it eight.

Woodrow then completed his hat trick with seven minutes to go and he then added a fourth to take Hakin’s tally into double figures.

Shane Walsh then scored with a minute of the 90 to go to complete the scoring.

On Saturday, October 1, Tish are in action in the first round of the Senior Cup as they host Monkton Swifts, kick off 1:45pm.
