ROSEMARKET GOLF CLUB held its Junior presentation night on Friday (Dec 12). After Club Captain, Tony Deakin had handed out the trophies, he thanked Danny and Tracey for all their hospitality, Chris Hine for the trophy engraving and junior competition sponsors – D & E.M Goodridge, Birch Utilities, Sidney McCormack (Mark and Alison), the Young Family and Tru-Plas of Johnston.
He also thanked the juniors for their commitment and dedication to junior golf at the club. Monthly stableford winner on Saturday was Mark McCormack with a massive 43 points. It didn’t take long for the handicap secretary to drop his handicap by 2 shots. Runner up was Kevin Holmes 39 points third Adam Reynolds 36 points fourth Alex James 35 points fifth Gary Lloyd 34 points. Twos winners were: hole 7 Mark McCormack; hole 13 was Kevin Holmes, Alex James and Luke Young; hole 16 Brian Johnson.
Ladies winner was Amber Deakin, beating Alison McCormack on count back with 30 points. Winter league winner on Sunday was John Lewis with 38 points, runner up Matthew Hobbs beating Kevin Holmes on count back with 34 points. Fourth was Adam Rogers 33 points fifth Luke Young 30 points.
