Kilgetty crowned Division 2 Champions

KILGETTY were crowned champions of Division 2 on Tuesday night (Apr 19) as they beat Monkton Swifts seconds 6-0.

Oscar Miles opened the scoring for Kilgetty after 19 minutes and he doubled his side’s lead ten minutes later.

Tom Baker scored with half an hour gone to make it 3-0 to the Division 2 leaders and he scored again five minutes into the second half.

Richard Tebbutt made it 5-0 on the hour mark and Miles completed his hat trick as he scored four minutes from the end.

It has been an excellent season for Kilgetty who have won seventeen of their 20 games so far, only losing once.

They also have a Senior Cup final to look forward to against Hakin on Saturday, April 30.

Before that, they have two final league games to play. On Thursday, April 21, they travel to Merlins Bridge seconds while on Saturday, April 23, the two teams will play the reverse fixture.
