Kilgetty prove too strong for Broad Haven

KILGETTY earned another win on Saturday (Apr 9) as they beat Broad Haven 5-1.

Kilgetty were on the front foot early on but didn’t get into their rhythm while Broad Haven made it very difficult and they deserved to take the lead from a corner front post flick on and there striker was unmarked to tap home.

That kicked Kilgetty into a bit of urgency and chance after chance went begging until Brett Evans popped up at the back post to level.

They continued to press with more chances being created and it was Richy Cope who headed home to put Kilgetty ahead.

In the second half Cope got his second to kill game off and then Brett Evans added his second.

Lloyd Hughes sealed the win with Kilgetty’s fifth goal of the game.
