KILLAY did the double over Carmarthenshire Premier Division leaders Trostre Sports as they beat them 4-2 on Saturday (Feb 23).
They had beaten them 5-3 in November but Trostre were keen to avenge that defeat. The Swansea side took the lead as Ben Lynch scored but Trostre levelled through Chris Waters.
Lynch then put the visitors back in front only for Trostre to hit back once more as Liam Preece scored to level the game at 2-2.
Alex Watson then scored his fourteenth goal of the season to put Killay back ahead and they made the points safe late on as Ben Jenkins scored their fourth goal of the game.
Killay are now 11 points ahead of the relegation zone with five games to play and four of those are at home.
They are without a game this weekend and their next game sees them take on Bwlch at home on March 9.
Trostre are in action on Saturday (Mar 2), as they welcome Bwlch.
Elsewhere, Evans and Williams moved into second place as they earned a 1-0 win away to Pwll Athletic, Liam Jones scoring the only goal of the game.
Carmarthen Stars slipped down to third as they drew 1-1 with Dafen while fourth placed Bwlch were beaten 4-2 by bottom side Tumble United.
Matthew James scored a hat trick and Josh Griffiths grabbed the other in an excellent win.
Gorseinon are now level on points with Bwlch as they also earned a 4-2 win at home to Pengelli United.
Matthew Hurford, Louis Jackson and Gareth Phillips were among the scoring for the home side.
Trallwm also scored four as they beat Pontarddulais 4-1 away from home. Kris Brown scored twice with other goals coming from Chris Griffiths and Josh Andrews.
Seaside also won away from home as they beat Loughor 2-1. They took the lead on ten minutes through Leo Pallini. Loughor drew level in the second half through Aaron Waters but then had a man sent off.
With fifteen minutes to go, Jamie Bowen scored a brilliant header after a great move and fantastic cross from Luke Lewis.
Seaside are now unbeaten in 2019 and have not lost in six league matches.
