Late penalty sees Emlyn beat Crymych by a point in thriller

A LATE penalty gave Newcastle Emlyn victory by just a single point in a thrilling game against Crymych on Saturday (Jan 29).

Crymych trailed 10-15 at the break and Emlyn extended their lead to 10-25 in the second half.

The hosts stormed back though and with five minutes to go they were 27-25 in front.

Emlyn had one final chance and a penalty from Shaun Leonard with just a minute to go was enough to give them victory.
