Loughor keep title bid alive

Trallwm 2

IN THE REVERSE fixture of the previous week which saw Trallwm run out 3-0 winners, Loughor had the chance to end a run of two straight defeats and get their title challenge back on track. This seemed unlikely when the visitors went in at the interval with a deserved 1-0 lead. Loughor rallied for the second half and got back into the game when George Lavender reacted the quickest after a spill from the keeper to tap home. The home side were enjoying dominant spells of possession and took the lead when Louis Jackson’s deflected free-kick deceived the keeper to find the net. Powerful forward Rob Jones shrugged aside a Trallwm defender to slot home a deserved third and although the visitors scored again, this proved little more than a consolation.
