Mariners maul Aberaeron

Milford Haven 32
Aberaeron 0

Milford Haven RFCTHE MARINERS maintained their impressive home form as they swept aside Aberaeron as James ‘Pasty’ Passmore claimed the man of the match award for his impressive display at flanker. ‘Pasty’ was rewarded with a try for his work, as the Mariners pack showed dominance at the breakdown and at set piece, giving the Mariners backs clean ball at every opportunity, and scoring a penalty try form a 5 meter scrum.

Nathan Rees and Mark Wonnacott added their name onto the score sheet to secure the bonus point, before Craig Jones rounded the game off with two tries out wide. Milford player Darren Lewis spoke to The Herald and said: “It was an impressive all round display, built on the foundation given to us by our pack, who worked well for the full 80 minutes. We intend to turn the Observatory Field into a fortress, and go undefeated at home this season”.
