LAST Saturday, Milford Ladies hosted newly promoted Rhondda at the astro turf.
Rhondda soon made their presence known and Milford realised that they had a tough game on their hands. Although there was some sterling work from Milford’s player of the game Charlotte Davies, Vicky Lloyd and Vicki John they were unable to break down the Rhondda defence.
This was not helped when top goal scorer Rachel Coe suffered a back injury and although in considerable pain she bravely insisted on soldiering on to help the team out.
After leading 1- 0 at half time, Rhondda scored two more goals in the second half finishing 30 winners on the day.
