Parr double sinks Saints

MILFORD United earned their second win of the season on Saturday (Feb 2), as they beat St Clears 2-0 at Marble Hall thanks to two goals from Liam Parr.

Milford started the game well and showed good movement and composure on the ball and had a few half chances.

They came close when they hit the side netting and they also had a few dangerous corners cleared away by the Saints.

Liam Parr worked hard throughout the game and he was rewarded with the opening goal after twenty minutes following good pressure on the keeper.

Morgan Picton, Ashley Mathias and Neil Mathias controlled the midfield and the back four was solid all game.

Neil Mathias sent a great ball over the top which Parr latched on to and he finished well to double his side’s lead.
