Scarlets sail through in Bowl

PEMBROKE brushed off the challenge of TSD in an entertaining game, where the students tested the Scarlets defence running the ball constantly. Pembroke however, bouncing back after a crippling defeat to Fishguard last week, ran in 8 tries with James Skeels (2), Mark Williams, Steve Dyde, Billy Wood, James Davies, Barry John and Sam Smith all got their name on the score sheet.

The Students deserve credit for their part in the game, as University sides don’t often take the SWALEC knock out competitions seriously, and have at times not fulfilled fixtures at all. But TSD however, made every effort for the 80 minutes and scored three fantastic tries.
