FORMER finalist of the SWALEC Bowl Fishguard and Goodwick continued their progress with a comprehensive victory over fellow Division 3 West B side Laugharne, led by man of the match Matthew George and outstanding forward Chris Shousha, who grabbed himself a brace of tries. Shousha opened the scoring after a break from James Griffiths and Laugharne replied with a try from Ross Michael.
However, from there on, the game was very much the Seagulls as Shousha added his second, centre Mike Jenkins, replacement number 8 Simon James before man of the match Matthew George claimed his reward for fantastic running lines and defensive commitment with a superb try. Outside half Griffiths added all the conversions, bar one, along with two penalties in a fantastic display from the tee.
