A LAST minute try from number 8 Pat Roberts gave Tenby a fantastic victory over Felinfoel, a side above them in the league. Felinfoel’s Aled Roberts scored 10 early points, as he scored a try, converted it then added a penalty before Tenby’s Jonathan Rogers kicked two penalties. Felinfoel then scored another try before Tenby winger Jordan Asparassa slid over for a converted try, leaving the score 17-16 at the break.
After the break, tense play saw Rogers and Roberts trade penalties, before Felinfoel’s fly half touched down for his second, converting it himself. Rogers then kicked his fourth penalty, before Felinfoel winger Jordan Simone raced away for a converted try, leaving the visitors out ahead by 31 points to 19. However, a rallying performance from Tenby saw fly half Ashley Sutton waltz his way through the Felinfoel defence to touch down with Rogers adding the extras.
Then in the dying moments, Pat Roberts bulldozed his way through for a memorable try, which was converted by Rogers to give Tenby victory.
