South Wales Premier League Round up

IN the South Wales Premier League, AMMANFORD registered their fourth successive Premier League victory with an impressive six wicket win over Mumbles at Ammanford Park on Saturday.

Mumbles batted first and were restricted to 184-9 with Aneurin Donald scoring 92 before he was bowled leaving the visitors on 127-4.

Aneurin Norman added 35 but the remainder of the Mumbles batsmen had little to offer as Matthew Fisher did the damage with three wickets.

A disastrous start to Ammanford’s response saw Jack Murphy fall lbw to Norman before the balance was restored through a second wicket partnership of 84 between opening batsman Elis Richards and Dan Roberts who made 47.

Fisher then scored an unbeaten half century to secure victory for the home side.

On Saturday, Ammanford are at home as they take on Cardiff.
