HAKIN United progressed into the second round of the WWFA cup with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Neath Premiership side Seven Sisters.
The Vikings scored very late in extra time to seal the win in an entertaining game of football.
Hakin took the lead through James Stanmore early on before the Sisters equalised midway through the first half.
They took the lead again shortly before half time. The ball fell to Aaron Owens who lashed the ball into the bottom corner from the right edge of the box.
The Sisters pushed forward in the second half looking for an equaliser, but could not fashion a clear goal scoring opportunity.
However, they were rewarded for their persistence in the final minute of normal time, Daniel Evans heading home a corner to send the game into extra time.
Both sides came close to scoring in extra time, but it was Hakin who finally grabbed the winning goal.
The ball was floated forward and it fell kindly for Aaron Owens who rifled a shot into the roof of the net for his second of the game.
